MEET THE TEAM

Greene has over a 14 years of real estate experience in the Americus area and is Past President of the Americus Board of Realtors. She obtained an associate degree in Liberal Arts from DeKalb Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Georgia State University. She has lived in Americus for the past thirty-one years and is married to J. Michael Greene a local attorney and Judge of the Municipal Court of Americus. They have two sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Maribel Greene and Emory and Elizabeth Greene. Greene is an active member of Central Baptist Church, an Honorary Member of the Americus Junior Service League, and a member of Four Seasons Garden Club.

Mary Kathryn has been a Realtor for 40 years. During this time she was the President of the Americus Board of Realtors along with Realtor of the Year. She is a graduate of Southland Academy and Georgia Southwestern University where she received a Marketing Degree. She is also a past Board Member at Southland Academy. She is married to Rick Davis. They have four children. Cody Timmerman, Kathryn Lee Lavender, Betty Morgan Cooksey, and Rebekah Davis. She is proud to say that she has six grandchildren: Sawyer, Jackson, Ava,  Davis. Virginia and Caroline.

Shira is the co-founder and CFO of BelleWether Homes, LLC, a local company that restores and rents specialty homes in Americus, Georgia. Her experience includes identifying prospects for real estate investment and architectural rehabilitation, performing historical research, technical writing (including historical narratives, grant applications and petitions to list homes on the National Historic Register), and community outreach. 

Although raised in the Atlanta area, Shira spent much of her childhood on her grandparents’ farm, located on the Sumter / Schley county line. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Georgia, where she graduated with Highest Honors (summa cum laude, 4.0 GPA). She is married to Dr. Jamie MacLennan, Professor of Sociology at Georgia Southwestern State University. They reside in Schley County and have four beautiful daughters.

John Wojnar has been an Americus resident for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Southland Academy and Georgia Southwestern State University. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. John and his wife Kandice have a beautiful one year old daughter and another little one on the way. John has a servant’s heart and a “get it done” attitude. Jimmy has been a Realtor for 11 years.

During his time he has won several Quality Service Awards. He is a graduate of Southland Academy and Valdosta State University. He is very involved in the community as Past President of the Americus Board of Realtors, Past President of the Rotary Club of Americus, Past President of the Smarr and Smith Foundation, Past Chairman of the Americus Sumter County Chamber of Commerce, Region 7 Director for Georgia Association of Realtors, and on many other boards and committees. Happily married to Morgan Whaley since April 2016 with 2 little boys.
